SME Sustainability OBSERVATORY

The SME Sustainability Observatory has three main objectives:

Strategic objectives

To ascertain the current degree of sustainability in the activity of SMEs. Through a questionnaire distributed by CEPYME, data and information will be collected from SMEs in Spain on ESG issues. Subsequently, a report will be drawn up with the conclusions and possible strategies and initiatives to be followed.

Identify opportunities for FINRESP to help SMEs. FINRESP will study the ESG knowledge of SMEs in Spain and will carry out a regular and close monitoring of the progress achieved.

Developing future ESG strategies in the sustainable transition of SMEs. FINRESP is developing strategies for ESG training and integration of sustainability actions and initiatives to boost the positioning and involvement of SMEs in sustainable development.

Sustainability Report on SMEs in Spain 2024

From FINRESP’s commitment to improve the capacity of SMEs to move towards social and environmental sustainability, FINRES has developed a report on the current situation of SMEs in Spain. The objective is to identify the difficulties and obstacles faced by SMEs in the economic ecosystem in which sustainability is increasingly present, and to address what measures represent good practices and what proposals and initiatives could be developed in favour of the integration of ESG aspects in this type of companies.
