FINRESP’s Sustainable Finance Repository is the first free public repository of data on the evolution of sustainable finance in Spain.
Through this recurrently updated source of information, FINRESP will record the dimension and evolution of the different sustainability indicators related to the main financial activities: financing, investment and insurance.
To this end, the repository presents historical data related to the evolution of bond issuance and the granting of sustainable loans by credit institutions in Spain; the number, assets and volume of participants in investment funds with sustainability criteria operating in the country; and the number of climate-related mishaps that occur each year and the amount with which the Spanish insurance sector deals with them.
The main sources of this repository are Bloomberg, Refinitiv, INVERCO, Agroseguro, the Insurance Compensation Consortium and UNESPA, so that it centralizes official data that had never before been presented in an aggregated form.
